The new rules regarding 2009 estimated taxes are complicated, to say the least. I saved a template to help in calculating 2009 estimates as N:\Tax\Tax Templates\2009 Estimated Tax Payments.
When you use the template, you need to double-check the percentages used to calculate safe harbor (which are highlighted). To determine the correct % to use, visit the the FAQs on our site for individual taxpayers, which has pretty, easy-to-read tables.
